Overview of Student Rights and Responsibilities
To help provide a safe and productive learning environment for students, staff, parents and visitors, the school district publishes this updated handbook annually to explain student rights, responsibilities and responses to behavior. Important information about the Educational Benefits Program (formerly the Free and Reduced-Price Meals program) can be found in the center of the handbook or by visiting the Food and Nutrition Services page.
Please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the information in the Overview of Student Rights and Responsibilities handbook, discuss it with your school-aged children and keep it to reference as necessary during the school year. Teachers will briefly review this handbook with students at the beginning of the school year.
The handbooks are available in English, Spanish and Somali.
