At Rosemount High School, we encourage students to get involved in the many activities and clubs we offer, as these opportunities help them discover interests, build friendships, and be part of our tradition of Irish Pride.

RHS Co-Curricular Activities

Environmental Science Thumbnail

The Environmental Science Club engages students in projects and activities that promote sustainability and environmental awareness.

Esports

RHS Esports fosters teamwork, strategy, and competition as students participate in organized video game leagues and tournaments.

Irishettes

The Irishettes represents RHS by performing at community events and home football games, while strengthening dance skills and school spirit.

Irish Gazette

The Irish Gazette publishes newsworthy content and fosters journalistic growth through student-driven writing and editorial work.

MATH TEAM

The RHS Math Team challenges students to sharpen their problem-solving skills while competing in local and state mathematics competitions

Photo & Digital Arts Club provides students with opportunities to explore digital and traditional photography, develop technical skills, and showcase creative work

Robotics

Irish Robotics empowers students across STEM disciplines to design, program, and compete with robots in national leagues while engaging in outreach and innovation.

Quiz & Knowledge Bowl team builds collaboration and critical thinking as students compete in fast-paced academic competitions across a wide range of subjects

Rocket Team

Rocket Club gives students hands-on experience designing, building, and launching rockets while exploring the science and engineering behind flight.

RHS Clubs

RHS Clubs are operated and managed by organizations, clubs or groups within the student body under the guidance and direction of staff member(s) and advisor(s) for educational, recreational or cultural purposes.

Best Buddies is an after school club to help bring students together with and without intellectual disabilities.

Business Professionals of America

Business Professionals of America is a leading national organization for students interested in careers in business, finance, information technology, and related fields.

RHS DECA

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs by engaging students in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management through competition and career-focused experiences.

HOSA

HOSA–Future Health Professionals gives students the opportunity to explore health sciences, develop leadership skills, and prepare for future careers in healthcare.

Prom Committee

The RHS Prom Committee, composed of selected juniors and seniors, plans and organizes the annual prom through an application and selection process each January.

Student Council

Student Council provides student leadership by sponsoring school events throughout the year, including planning and leading the annual Homecoming week.

Yearbook

Yearbook Club captures the moments of the school year through photography, design, and storytelling to create the annual yearbook.

 

Student Led Clubs

Student-Led Clubs provide the opportunity for learners to meet before or after school during the limited open forum time.  Students are required to have an adult supervisor to oversee the meeting of the club.  As these are student-led clubs, the beliefs and viewpoints are not necessarily representative of Rosemount High School or District 196.

Aerial Club gives students the chance to explore aerial arts while building strength, creativity, and confidence.

ASA

ASA brings students together to celebrate Asian heritage and share traditions through events and activities.

ASL

ASL Club helps students build communication skills in American Sign Language through interactive practice and activities.

BakingClub

Baking Club brings students together to learn new recipes, share treats, and enjoy the fun of baking.

BSU

BSU builds community and provides support for Black students while celebrating Black culture and identity.

Faith Club is open to all interested in making friends and learning about and growing in the Christian faith.

FashionDesignClub

Fashion Design Club encourages creativity and self-expression as students explore clothing design, styling, and hands-on projects.

FCA

Fellowship of Christian Athletes encourages students to grow in faith and leadership while building community through athletics.

Games with Seniors builds friendships across generations by connecting students with the Rosemount Senior Living through games and activities.

LSU celebrates Latin heritage, builds community, and provides a space for students to share culture and experiences.

LettersofLove

Letters of Love spreads encouragement to children facing cancer and other serious illnesses by creating and sending heartfelt handmade cards.

Magic the Gathering Club brings students together to play, learn, and enjoy the strategy and creativity of the popular card game.

Community Clubs

Community Clubs are clubs or teams that operate outside of our school's supervision. They are not funded by RHS and compete through an association or club league.
