Schedules/Changes for 2024-2025

For the 2024-2025 school year, schedule change requests will be made using an online form found here. Students will have the opportunity to change schedules twice during the school year.  The first opportunity will be before the start of the school year, running from Wednesday, August 7th to Wednesday, August 14th.  The second opportunity for T2 and T3 changes will be Monday, November 11th to Friday, November 15th prior to the end of the first trimester.

To request a change, students must complete the online request form in its entirety (found below).  Upon completion and submission of the online request change form, students will be able to view approved changes to their schedule in the Campus Portal by the beginning of the next term. Schedule level change requests will be made on a limited basis. Students whose request cannot be honored will receive communication from their counselor. 

Schedules will not be changed for the following reasons:

  • Rearrange classes within their schedules
  • Request specific teachers or class periods
  • Change electives that were selected during the registration process
  • Request a study hall or condensed day during a specific period

Course changes will be approved on a space in class available basis for limited reasons:

  • A failed prerequisite course (including senior credit needed for graduation)

  • Change in IEP or 504 Plan

  • Health Plan 

  • PSEO

Families of students with IEPs should contact their case manager with questions regarding schedule change requests.

Thank you for understanding this important process for our growing building. Course offerings, staffing decisions, and sectioning decisions are all made based on the courses that students selected at the time of registration in January.  When students request to change a course, it can cause significant stress on class sizes.  For this reason, please note that the schedule change time period is meant to address true errors in a student’s schedule.
